Dr Tan Hui Suan, MB ChB (UK)

Dr Tan Hui Suan is an experienced doctor who graduated from the University of Manchester Medical School with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Having undergone post-graduate medical training in the Cambridge University Hospitals in the United Kingdom, she returned to Singapore and trained in the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and General Surgery before developing a passion in Aesthetics Medicine.

She holds the Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and is certified by the Aesthetic Dermatology Educational Group of Singapore to perform Botulinum Toxin, Dermal Fillers, Chemical Peels, Lasers, IPL and body contouring procedures. She went on to further her studies and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University. Dr Tan is also a firm advocate for clean beauty and has her own clinical skincare line targeting Asian skin.

Her goal is to help every patient discover their authentic self using cutting-edge technology and scientifically proven products whilst maintaining a natural and balanced enhancement. Combining her specialised surgical skills, extensive knowledge in clinical medicine and cosmeceuticals, she creates a highly personalised as well as holistic approach to cosmetic improvement and wellness.

When not at work, Dr Tan enjoys singing and playing the piano. She has a Diploma in Pianoforte Performance from London College of Music. She also does pro bono work with the Legal Aid Bureau at Ministry of Law Singapore by being part of the Medical Advisory Panel serving underprivileged individuals with medical negligence cases. She is a member of Singapore Medical Association.

Stephanie Chong

Customer Service Executive & Aesthetician

Always exuding positivity and professionalism, Stephanie plays an important role in making sure all clients’ treatment appointments and follow up visits are well organised.

She is also certified in various aesthetic courses and has at least 5 years experience working in aesthetic clinics. She is constantly making sure all clients feel comfortable and warm in the clinic, and is a good team player to her colleagues. She is fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her young daughter and looking out for new interesting cafes to visit with her friends.

OUR JOURNEY

While in private practice for seven years, Dr Tan had salvaged the skins of many clients who suffered from skin irritation, dryness, allergy and infection as a result of using products which were unsuitable or too harsh for their skins. These clients were either not properly advised or presented with insufficient facts from their aesthetics doctors or beauticians, to make a well-informed decision. There were others who vacillated from one aesthetic doctor or beautician to another, only to become more confused from a gamut of conflicting advice. Through such a trial and error process, these clients can only hope to find the right doctor to reverse all the damages.

Dr Tan herself, had endured a period of anguish from using the wrong skincare products and could relate to the feelings of distress, self-doubt and low self-esteem suffered by her clients. It is this burning desire to genuinely help her clients that propelled Dr Tan to set up Dermstetiq Clinic, with her own clinical skincare brand “Mei”, specially curated to suit the type and texture of Asian skin in mind.
